Dialando Protection Conditions

1. The Insurance Plan

This contract governs the physical watch and technical support provided to you by DIALANDO under the above-mentioned plan (each referred to herein as the “Plan”) for the Dialando-branded service listed on your proof of coverage document (“Order number”).

We currently offer you two coverage options:

  • Dialando Protection (11,99€/year) *0,03 €/Day
  • Dialando Protection PLUS (14,99€/year) *0,04 €/Day

2. When Coverage Begins and Ends

Coverage begins when you receive your watch 1 year +14 days return period (in days: 365 days + 14 days = 379 days!) and ends on the date specified in your Plan Confirmation (“Coverage Period”).

3. What is Covered?

Dialando Protection covers materials, manufacturing and of course handling defects.

Depending on whether you have chosen the “Dialando Protection” or “Dialando Protection PLUS” plan, here is a list of the items that are covered under this guarantee.

  • Defects in material and workmanship under normal use
  • Uninterrupted or Error-free
  • Normal wear and tear (Ex. Dirtiness)
  • Case
  • Lost Crystal (if applicable)
  • Bracelet
  • Straps
  • Buckle
  • Pins
  • Crow
  • Dial

As an addition, the "Dialando Protection PLUS" plan also covers:

  • Glass (Broken or scratched)
  • Broken Movement (Incorrect using/handling)
  • Shock injuries and crush injuries
  • Improper handling
  • Water damage and moisture damage (at least 5 ATM)

Depending on the chosen coverage, the repair will be carried out or the watch will be replaced free of charge and labor, if it is proven that the damage done is within the aforementioned coverage.

In case of serious damage, making it impossible to repair, Dialando will send you the same model watch. If your model is not available, a watch of equal value and similar style will be provided, and it may or may not be previously coordinated with you. The protection for the replacement watch ends with your coverage of Dialando Protection Insurance acquired in the purchase of the first watch related to this, and not the replaced watch.

4. What is not Covered?

In the case of the "Dialando protection PLUS" plan, any damage under circumstances other than those established above will not be covered. although it is very unlikely since it is a fairly complete insurance.

Dialando protection” in its standard version does not cover the following circumstances of damage:

  • Glass (Broken or scratched)
  • Broken Movement (Incorrect using/handling)
  • hock injuries and crush injuries
  • Improper handling
  • Water damage and moisture damage (at least 5 ATM)

We remind you that water damage will not be covered by Dialando Protection if care is not followed under instructions for the product’s water resistance level (as marked on the product), including damages subject to exposure of the watch to other types of liquids or chemicals (other than regular water or sea water). Also water damage of watches under 5 ATM are not covered.

5. How to Obtain Service and Support?

If you want to use your Dialando Protection for any damage to your watch, you must contact our customer service and choose the selection"Use my Dialando Protection".

Don’t forget to enter the order number that was sent to your email at the time of your purchase to confirm the validity of your protection. The team in charge of Dialando will contact you to confirm and coordinate the shipment of the damaged watch in no more than 2 working days.

It is necessary that you wait for the confirmation from the Dialando team before sending us the watch, since we will provide you with the official address where it should be sent, and at the same time we will track the shipment, so you have to send us the package with the option to be able to be traced. It is also necessary that you wait for the confirmation that you can send it to us, because there may be the possibility that the damage or repair to be carried out, is carried out by a watchmaker close to you, in the same way we will cover that cost.

In case you have to send us the damaged watch, the shipping cost will be covered by you. We will cover the cost of shipping back the watch to return it to you when it is repaired, only if the shipping address is within the European Union.

In the same email that will be sent to you, the necessary information will also be provided to follow up on the repair process and its completion times. Dialando has the right to be in contact with you with the area in charge of the Dialando Protection service via mail, telephone and chat.

6. Your Responsibilities

To receive service or support under the insurance, you agree to comply with the following:

  1. Provide your “order number” proof of purchase
  2. Provide information about the symptoms and causes of the issues with the covered product
  3. Respond to requests for information, including but not limited to the covered product, like serial number, model, actions taken before the Covered Equipment experienced the issue and steps taken to resolve the issue
  4. Follow instructions Dialando gives you, including a photography if request.

7. Transfer of the Insurance

The Dialando protection is related to the product and not to the client, so this insurance can be used by any user who is in legal possession of the product, being able to sell the product with the active insurance to a new owner, and this one have access to the coverage, as long as the new owner have the purchase “order number” delivered to the person who directly purchased the product from our online store, and that the duration of the insurance remains valid.

How Consumer Rights Affect this Plan

For consumers in jurisdictions who have the benefit of consumer protection laws or regulations, the benefits conferred by the above-mentioned plans are in addition to all rights and remedies provided under such laws and regulations. nothing in this plan shall prejudice consumer rights granted by applicable mandatory laws, including consumer’s right to the remedies under statutory warranty law and to seek damages in the event of total or partial non-performance or inadequate performance by apple of any of its contractual obligations.
